9-mile creek and 84th

Well, the bridge over 9 Mile Creek on 84th has been under replacement since sometime in August. The original completion date was mid September. When inquiring as to why its past due and when it is now estimated to be completed, we learned that the most recent spate of heavy rain flooded the excavations and put them two weeks behind schedule. So now they're planning on completing sometime in mid October.

Anything about that sound odd? Mid September + two weeks delay because of flooding would seem to be late September or early October, not mid October.
